A resume check and a path to work

Check your resume, look for nearby work, and find school or training help.

Prepared for release. This change has not been deployed.

The new Jobs page starts with your resume, cover letter or a question.

• Get a short resume check, up to three job suggestions and three next steps for work, school or training.
• A free account adds line-by-line feedback, a cover letter draft and filters for the returned matches. Your steps become tasks.
• Save searches and choose alerts in your inbox. Save your resume in your vault only when you choose to.

Matches are suggestions. Apply links go to the employer or job board. We cannot promise a job. When written answers rest, resume checks and the path still use written rules, and job search stays available.

PDFs with selectable text, Word DOCX and text files can be read now. Photos, scans and older Word files need pasted text. The live job search connection still needs a check before this feature is released.
