Our logs are web pages now
The list of mistakes we found on official sites is a page with filters and a note for each agency, and every log has one home.
When our research finds a wrong number, an old page or a dead link on an official site, we write it down and tell the agency. That list used to be a file only the team could read in the code. Now it is a page.
- The source issues log shows every mistake we found: the date, the agency, the page, what we saw, what is right and our source, and whether it is to send, to ask, sent or fixed.
- Filter by agency or status, and see how many each agency has open.
- Each agency gets a short, kind note made from its open rows, ready to copy into an email.
- One page lists every log we keep: source issues, the coverage board and this changelog, each marked public or private.
- Both pages are private for now. The team signs in to read them, and search engines do not list them. Each log can be made public later with one switch.
