Choose your inbox address
Pick your own Front Door email address when you sign up, checked as you type.
When you sign up, the first step is “About you”: your first name, your Front Door address (yourname@localcarehub.org) and your ZIP code. Agencies and programs can send letters to your address, and you read them in Front Door.
-
Sign-up now asks your first name and fills your state from your ZIP code. You can change the state, and your ZIP code stays.
-
Your address suggestions follow the first name you type.
-
“A few basics” can take your yearly household income, so the programs that fit reflect it.
-
When you finish, a short intro shows how Front Door works, then you see the programs you likely or may qualify for, and the answers that would let us check more.
-
Your Front Door address is at the top of your inbox and your home page, with Copy and Share.
-
The assistant reads your saved answers without your name, email, exact ZIP code or exact income.
-
If you delete your account, your old addresses are retired and never given to anyone else.
-
A small envelope shows your address as you type, with a Ready stamp when the name is free.
-
We check every name as you type. If it is taken or reserved, we suggest free ones made from your name. Tap one to use it.
-
Use 3 to 30 letters, numbers or single dots, starting with a letter.
-
No two people can ever have the same address.
-
You can change your address once later in Settings. Mail to your old address still reaches you, and your old address keeps working until the new one is ready.
-
If you leave before choosing, we bring you back to this step next time you sign in.
