Sign-up pages for people, groups and agencies
Three new pages show what Front Door does for people, community groups and agencies, and each one walks you through your first steps with a live preview.

Signing up used to be one plain button. Now people, community groups and agencies each get a page that shows the product, and a few short steps that set it up.
- For people (
/for-people) shows your home on Front Door: the programs that fit, your vault, a letter turned into a task, and what is due next. - A new account starts with a welcome. You say where you live (a state or a ZIP code), what you need help with, and, if you want, who lives with you. The picture on the right fills in as you answer, with your state’s own program names. When you finish, your plan already has the programs that fit best.
- Sign-in is a split page with your home beside the form. “Create your account” opens the same email sign-in on its sign-up screen.
- For organizations (
/for-organizations) is for food banks, clinics, shelters and other community groups. They can search for their place by name among listings in Washington and local offices in every state, claim it with a work email, and describe it. The listing on the right changes as they type: services, who it is for, hours, phone, address and what to bring. - A claim from an email at the place’s website is approved right away. Every other claim, and every new place, goes to a person on the Front Door team, who sees exactly what the organization wants the listing to say. The page then says what happens next.
- Local offices in every state can now be claimed. Once a claim is approved, people see the organization’s own words and the date it checked them.
- For agencies (
/for-agencies) shows an agency’s workspace and how joining works. Joining (/join) now has four steps, and the workspace on the right follows each choice: which programs you claim, how applications reach you, the state page and your team. - The pages use real public domain paintings from the Art Institute of Chicago, credited on a new Art credits page. The pictures of Front Door inside them are its own screens, marked “Example”.
- How it works, Privacy, Accessibility and the new pages now carry the national header. The footer’s three headings open the three new pages.
- A practice claim from the presenter’s demo shortcut never changes anything people can see, even after a demo reviewer approves it.
