Try the demo, with your own made-up Maria

Anyone can try all of Front Door at demo.localcarehub.org as their own copy of a made-up person. Nothing is sent to any agency.

Until now, trying Front Door meant a live walkthrough with a presenter. Now anyone can open https://demo.localcarehub.org and use the whole product on their own.

• “Start the demo” gives you your own copy of Maria Delgado, a made-up person in Spokane with two kids. She has a saved vault, an Apple Health renewal coming up and a plan of programs to apply for.
• What you do changes only your copy. Two people trying the demo at once never see each other’s steps. Your copy is deleted after 24 hours.
• Try asking a question, opening Maria’s home, sending her a practice letter that turns into a task, applying for five programs at once, and switching to Alex Rivera at DCYF to see her case arrive.
• Nothing leaves the demo. No email or text is sent, and no application reaches an agency. Where the real site would send something, the demo says “In the demo, this would be sent.”
• A banner on every page says it is a demo and links to the real site. Demo controls in the banner switch people, send practice letters and reset your Maria.
• “Try the demo” is on For people, For agencies and For organizations, and in the footer.
