Clearer demo numbers and sources for officials

On What people ask for, demo totals are rounded and labeled right beside each number, every demo chart says "Demo data" inside the picture, the filters fit on phones and computers, and the sources read as plain citations.

What people ask for, the page for officials at localcarehub.org/officials, still shows demo data until our own counts are large enough. Now it is harder to mistake the demo for real counts, even in a cropped screenshot.

  • Rounded demo totals. The three big numbers now read like “About 2.1 million” instead of an exact count. They no longer change a little every time the page loads.
  • The label sits beside each number. “Demo data” now sits on the same line as each big number, so it stays with the number in a screenshot.
  • “Demo data” inside every chart. Each demo chart and the state map carry a faint “DEMO DATA” mark across the picture. Pointing at a chart still shows its numbers.
  • Filters that fit. On a phone, the time choices are one row: 4 weeks, 12 weeks and 12 months. On a computer, “Every kind of help” and long state names show in full.
  • Plain citations. Each source under How the demo is made shows its title, publisher, date and license, with a link to read it. Our research notes stay out of the page and out of the code your browser downloads.

The model report, a working page for the Front Door team, now asks the team to sign in. It loads one task at a time, and a model that answered nothing reads “Not measured” instead of 0 seconds or Free. The page visit counter no longer runs on it.
