Until now, many pages drew their own buttons, boxes and menus, so small differences crept in from page to page. Front Door now has one set of building blocks that every screen is made from, so a button or a box to type in looks and works the same wherever you meet it.

- Nothing you see on the site changes today. The buttons and boxes on every page already match the new set.
- Menus, pop-up windows and tooltips in your account and on the pages for officials now run on the new set. They open, close and move with the keyboard as before.
- A new page, [Design system](https://localcarehub.org/design-system), shows every building block: the colors, the type, and each piece in every state, with an example screen of a person's tasks. It is for anyone building Front Door, so search engines skip it.
- Over the coming weeks, the rest of the site moves onto the same set, one area at a time, starting with your account.
