We have read official pages and trusted lists for more than 100,000 services in every state, and we want that work to be useful well beyond Front Door. Part of it is now free for anyone, and full access comes with a key, through a sponsorship plan or through support given back to the community.

- **See what we have.** [localcarehub.org/open-data](https://localcarehub.org/open-data) lists every state's state programs, local offices, nonprofits, food sites and services, and services by kind of help, so the size of the directory is plain to see.
- **A free sample.** About 1 in 10 services from every state, with every field, as a file per state or through the API without a key. The same services stay in the sample from one release to the next, so downloading it again never adds up to the whole directory. Without a key, the API allows 30 requests a minute and 300 a day.
- **Partners get everything.** A partner gets an API key with its own limits per minute, day and month, and the full file for each state. Over a limit, the API answers 429 with how long to wait. Keys are kept only as a hash, and we can turn one off at once.
- **Ask about a partnership.** A short form on the open data page asks who you are, what you want to build and how much you expect to use. It comes to our team by email and we write back to work out which way in fits: a sponsorship plan, or support given back to the community.
- **API docs and an OpenAPI file.** [localcarehub.org/open-data/api](https://localcarehub.org/open-data/api) covers every endpoint with real answers from the sample, keys, rate limits, errors and versions. The OpenAPI 3.1 file is at `/api/hsds/openapi.json`.
- The old per-state downloads now lead to the sample.
