Front Door sends a few kinds of email: renewal reminders, invites for agency staff, and notes to our own team. Each one used to look a little different. Now they share one design.

- **Easy to read on a phone.** Large text, one navy button, and the date that matters in its own box. On a phone the email fills the screen.
- **Plain words.** Each reminder says what is due, the date, and three steps to take. No long dashes, no filler.
- **Who, why, and how to stop.** Every email ends with who it is from, why you got it, and how to stop it. Renewal reminders keep their one-click stop link.
- **Dark mode.** In Apple Mail, iOS Mail and Outlook, the email switches to dark colors when your phone does.
- **Nothing loads from elsewhere.** Emails to residents have no pictures and no outside fonts, so opening one fetches nothing from another server. Every email also has a plain text version.
- **Bounced addresses stop.** When an address bounces or someone marks an email as spam, Front Door stops emailing that address.
- **Release notes for our team** now show the changelog card, the screenshots with captions, and the links.

Behind the scenes, Front Door can send through Resend, as it does today, or through Bento's PostShiba, with one setting.
